How we design systems.

Architecture is decided before the first schema. We design for the next five years of operation—not the next demo.

Architecture

Boundaries, data flow, and failure modes are designed first. We choose structures that can evolve without a rewrite—marketplaces, offline-first clients, and operational platforms included.

Infrastructure

Cloud, environments, and deployment are treated as product surface. Staging, production, and rollback are part of the system—not a late DevOps add-on.

Security

Authentication, authorization, and data handling are architectural constraints. Access control and validation ship with the first write path, not as a pre-launch checklist.

Observability

Logging, monitoring, and crash reporting are how we keep operational control after launch. If it cannot be diagnosed, it is not production-ready.

AI integration

Models sit behind product intent—captions, automation, classification—not a chat box bolted on for marketing. Latency, cost, and failure states are designed like any other backend.

Data systems

Storage follows access patterns: Firestore for live sync, Postgres for relational integrity, Hive/SQLite when the product must keep working offline. Sync and conflict rules are explicit.
